Who is Mound Westonka Rotary?

The Mound-Westonka Rotary Club is a local chapter of Rotary International serving the Westonka area around Lake Minnetonka, including Mound, Minnetrista, Minnetonka Beach, and nearby communities. Rotary's motto is "Service Above Self," and the club focuses on community service, fundraising, scholarships, and humanitarian projects both locally and internationally.

Some key facts about the club:

• Founded in 1962, it has been serving the local community for more than 60 years.

• It supports projects such as:

• High school scholarships

• Food shelf and community assistance programs

• Christmas Adopt-A-Family

• School supplies and Eagle Scout projects

• The club is known for organizing Tonka Brew Fest, a major community fundraiser that has

Join us on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 11:00 am for the Firehouse 5K Fun Run at Back Channel Brewing Co. in Spring Park - a family-friendly fun run supporting our local Mound Fire Department and celebrating our Westonka community on the shores of Lake Minnetonka.

Hosted in collaboration with the MN Brewery Running Series, this 5K-ish fun run is open to all paces and all ages - runners, walkers, strollers, dogs, and spectators are all welcome. Come get active, enjoy our beautiful lakeside neighborhood, and then hang out at the brewery for food, music, and community.

Our Annual Westonka Community Easter Egg Hunt is back, and we’re filling the field with over 5,000 eggs for kids to discover! We’ll have two separate fields of eggs, one for elementary kids and one for early childhood, so everyone gets a fair chance to join in on the fun. Bring your baskets, invite your friends, and celebrate Easter with us! This is a free, family-friendly event you won’t want to miss!

NEW LOCATION THIS YEAR: This event will take place in the field area at Shirley Hills Primary School. Street parking is available as well as the school parking lots.
